Mom (`wdwparksgal) has spoken! And she wants more time to color lines. And since she's in charge of projects, she gets her way. So the deadline for coloring has been extended to July 15th.

This one is a two-parter, and as such will last for two months. Part one will take place in May, and close on the 31st. Part two will start June 1st and go through July 15th.

So what exactly is "Lines and Color"? Well... Lines is part one, and Color is part two. In May, you are welcome to submit any type of Disney lineart (drawn by yourself, of course) to the project. Then in June, everyone else has a crack at coloring it, even you! Here's how it will work:



The Line portion of the project is now closed. Thank you to everyone who submitted a lineart!




1. Choose one (or more if you want) of the linearts submitted and color it. Traditional and digital coloring are both welcome, of course. [If you want to try something like recreating the lineart as a crafted piece, you're welcome to try, but you had better ask the original artist if that is ok first.]

2. Submit your colored piece to the appropriate gallery on dA (all but #40 must be submitted into FANART or scraps) and make sure to credit the original in your description with a link to the original lineart and its artist.

3. Send the club and the original artist a note with the finished piece. We will collect it and add the thumb to the journal.



Everyone who submits a lineart will earn one point, and everyone who submits a coloring will also earn one point. If you enter both halves of the project, you will earn 2 points. You may enter as many times as you like in each half of the project, but you will only receive a point for your first entry. You will NOT earn a point for every piece submitted. At the end, an Admins choice will be awarded to one deviant, worth 5 points.
